Pranitha was inspired by her parents, who chose the noble profession of being doctors. They run a hospital in Bengaluru and conduct several health and blood camps. As a teenager, Pranitha used to take part in such camps and meet people from various backgrounds. She often saw people from the poorest background coming to her parents’ hospital for medication. Sometimes they were treated for free. The idea of philanthropy was instilled in her young heart by her parents.
After having achieved professional success as an actress, she along with her parents started Pranitha Foundation, a charitable organization to give back to society in their own way.
